BIG NEWS!
Things have changed at LIFTE H2
Dear friends and partners:
This may be a start-up tale as old as time, but things have changed here at LIFTE H2!
Hydrogen’s potential as an alternative source for fuel and energy is being realized. Its place in the future is evident given market growth, policy and infrastructure development, and advancements in technology. The LIFTE H2 team and the solutions we've designed are critical to continuing this growth. To meet the demand we are seeing for project services and midstream products globally, we have made some strategic changes.
North America
Our US-based operations and infrastructure solutions have been acquired by Powertech Labs. Headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, Powertech Labs is a leader in technical design, construction, and operation of compressed hydrogen fueling infrastructure solutions.
A new US-based subsidiary has been created - Powertech USA, which is where you can find us still doing what we do and serving the US and Canadian markets. Powertech USA will provide a family of infrastructure solutions including hydrogen export systems, high-capacity transport trailers, mobile refuelers, and fueling stations. Together, these solutions form the market’s first end-to-end hydrogen fueling solution – integrating the movement of hydrogen from the production outlet to the vehicle inlet.
Powertech USA will be led by Angie Ackroyd, LIFTE’s Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Jeremy Maunus, LIFTE’s COO, along with Matthew Blieske, LIFTE's CEO, will continue to support the Powertech USA team in advisory roles.

Europe
LIFTE H2 continues decarbonising customers' operations in Europe by designing and delivering simple, safe and affordable hydrogen infrastructure. LIFTE H2 GmbH will be led by Paul Karzel, a Co-Founder of LIFTE H2, who will continue as Managing Director.
A one-stop shop for H2 engineering solutions, the company provides engineering services for integrated hydrogen systems, holistically optimised from electrolysis to customer application, supporting customers at every stage of their hydrogen development.
The team's focus is on lowering entry barriers for hydrogen projects across the value chain: H2 production, H2 for mobility, municipal utilities, renewable developers, industrial H2 applications, and support of product development.
Asset Performance Management Platform
LIFTE H2 developed a bleeding-edge digital Asset Performance Management (APM) platform that was purpose-built as the first synchronized workspace designed specifically for managing hydrogen data, assets, and people. This platform and members of the LIFTE H2 digital development team have been acquired by Electric Hydrogen (EH2), a manufacturer of advanced, industrial-scale hydrogen electrolyzer technology. LIFTE’s APM combined with EH2’s market leading electrolysis solutions will provide operational visibility and reliability not yet seen in the hydrogen industry.
